The above bank accounts can be opened by foreign companies as well.
Deposits and withdrawals can be made by swift remittances (telegraphic transfers) from and to your bank abroad.
The accounts can be opened through our law firm and can be managed by mail and /or fax. Account balances and history can be checked via the internet.
The procedure is relatively simple.
1. We send you all the necessary forms via mail or email.
2. You complete the forms and attach the necessary documents
3. You send the forms back to us.
4. We open the bank account of your choice.
5. We send you the necessary documents to your address.
Types of Foreign Accounts.
The types of foreign currency accounts are:
Current A/c.
Days Notice.
Multi-currency accounts in any currency where rate fluctuates periodically.
Fixed deposits accounts for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months 12 months, 18 months, where interest rate is fixed.
Visa/Debit Cards.
A customer, who maintains an account with a Cyprus Bank may have a visa card, either debit, credit, or charge card, provided a certain amount of money is being blocked in his account, as indicated below.
Cards can be issued in USD and GBP foreign currency only.
Classic Visa: 5000 USD
Gold Visa: 10000 USD
Platinum Visa: 20000 USD
Dinners: 20000 USD
Electron: 1000 USD
Note :
The blocked amount will be released into your account once the card is returned to the bank.
With Electron payment with manual visa card machines is not possible.
